Het Zweden Huis has had multiple lives. It started out as a residential building in the early 1900s, became a Swedish furniture shop in the ‘60s, and then a dentist office in the early 2000s. Het Zweden Huis is now home to the first 4 zero-carbon co-living Habi homes in Rotterdam.
We love to preserve and showcase the industrial beauty of old Dutch architecture. We’re talking original red-brick walls, historic staircases, and high ceilings.
Our building is decorated with refurbished mid-century Dutch designer (e.g. Braakman, Rietveld, Teeffelen, etc...) furniture inspired by the 60s Swedish shop. You’ll love it!
